DiscFlinger - Disc Throwing Garden Game

A 3D-printable disc set for a fun outdoor throwing game — lightweight, travel-friendly, and perfect for picnics, camping, or backyard fun. Think pétanque or bocce, but with flat discs instead of heavy balls.

How to Play

Each player uses 2 throwing discs in their own unique color. Place or toss the small target disc on the ground. Players take turns tossing their discs, trying to land as close to the target as possible. Team closest to the target disc earn 1 point, first team to reach 13 points wins!

Print Settings

• Material: PLA or PETG (PETG recommended for outdoor use)
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: Gyroid
• Infill density: 15%
• Supports: Not needed
• Wall loops: 4

Files included:

• target_disc — 50 × 50 × 5 mm (place this on the ground as the target)
• throwing_disc — 100 × 100 × 10 mm (print 2 per player)

Suggested Colors

Print each player's 2 discs in their own color — everyone has a unique color so there's no confusion. 

For a standard 2v2 match you'll need 4 different colors (8 discs total).

📦 What You Need for a Full 2v2 Game

• 1 × target disc
• 8 × throwing discs (2 per player, 4 different colors)

💡 Notes

The whole set fits in a small bag — great for travel. PETG holds up better outdoors in heat and UV. Feel free to scale the throwing disc slightly to adjust weight and feel to your liking.
