Description

Made this adapter when I bought a NOCO Genious 5 battery charger and wanted to have a permanent quick connect on my motorcycle battery. I didn't want to permanently mount the quick connector that the cable clamps use, and I didn't want to buy the NOCO adapter that cost 1/4th of what the whole charger cost🄓.
For the pins I cut off a 4-pin MOLEX connector from an old PC power supply. You can get old power supplies for free or dirt cheap. I used epoxy to pot the cables in place. There is a pocket in the rear that you can fill up with adhesive. I reckon you can make 10 of theese adapters for 5 bucks if you have to buy everything. Uses about 8 grams of filament. I used BambuLab PETG HF filament, but you can use anything you have on hand. It doesn't have to be very strong.

The spacer is used to space the pins the correct distance from the face of the connector.

Happy printing! 🫔
