Endoscopic pliers Improved Grip → I only made the base of the thumb ring more robust

!!!Modified but not yet tested!!! If you encounter any problems, I would be grateful if you would leave me feedback🙏🏻

2-level layout for A1 mini
ok, works good, tho i have one complaint and one ask, so the part i circled in blue tends to bend easy, so maby beef it up, and it could be up to 75 mm longer than it is now, even on the a1 mini, and a longer version would be more useful to me

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Yes, I can try to reinforce it, once I’m done, I’ll upload the updated model😉. As for the length, I can try extending it a bit, but I’m afraid the rod might bend. Maybe adding another constraint to the main structure could solve that. If it works, I’ll upload everything😉

One turned into spaghetti but I have no regretti. My own fault as I set it to run without checking the first layer. Otherwise perfect little tool for grabbing that 4m screw that went down that gap

Endoscopic Forceps Reinforced Thumb Grip

Other Issues:Just as was described by another commenter. The print job failed on layer 18 as on the 210mm version of this model. See the first image. It was printing the four tools just fine up through layer 17, then on layer 18 it attempted to “air print” a fifth tool when by H2D printer stopped with a spaghetti error message. It would not let me skip the bad part and resume because the entire plate was created as one part/model so the whole plate is gone.

Hello, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I hadn't noticed that the error was also present in this profile. Problem solved😉

Good print, had one bed ahesion issue but I don't think it was the model's fault. I'm considering printing this in 100% infill with PETG.

Ingenious design. 5⭐️ for that. But, totally useless. Thumb hole is too small. Jaws have nearly zero grip strength. Didn’t expect much along those lines but insufficient gripping power makes them unusable.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'll try adding some knurling to the tip to improve grip. Unfortunately, the clamping force can't be increased because of the hinge mechanism used for opening it.

Bed Adhesion Issue:just like some others posted, the one in the far back failed instantly and created a great spaghetti. somehow the front 4 remained unscathed the whole print time

Actually, only one other person had the same problem as you, and all they had to do was clean the print bed and check the first layer 😅

Interesting. I might run it again and check the first layer. My bed is definitely clean, so it may have just been a fluke

Okay so I ran it again and noticed that the printer didn’t print the last one at all on the first layer. I took a look at the file in Bambu Studio and turns out that that last one is floating and doesn’t print until layer 18. I assume the issue probably isn’t present on the other profiles if other users haven’t complained, but it definitely is an issue on the 210 profile
