Description

This is a compatible piece for the AmScope B120C. This replaces the binocular covers around where the lenses reflect into the scope. There is a 3mf (recommended, I have dialed in the settings for this), an STL, and a freeCAD file if you wish to edit this.

The rubberized coating on these becomes sticky and nasty over time, and tend to crack and break with age. You can clean it with alcohol but it usually comes back after a couple months and leaves a weird film on the surface.

This is a quick replacement and an easy sub 1hr print. Print, remove 4 screws on edges of cover, remove old cover, insert new cover, re-install 4 screws. You're smart, you can do this.

If you don't want to use the 3mf I provided, please make sure to print this slow and with thick walls and top and bottom layers. There should be no infill (only solid layers). The prints comes out significantly higher quality at a slow speed.

I highly recommend using dark filament to avoid light leaking through.
