Passthru Lightbulb for Illumination Station VBS
Designed specifically for the Lifeway "Illumination Station" VBS theme, this passthrough fidget is a highly tactile, low-waste giveaway for kids, leaders, and volunteers.
Shaped like a classic lightbulb to match the theme of shining light, the inner spiral core smoothly passes through the threaded base for a satisfying, continuous fidget mechanism. The outer shell features a cross logo and the theme verse, John 8:12. It can also be printed in place fully assembled with zero supports, making it incredibly easy to mass-produce for your church's VBS program.

Printing & Slicing Tips
Because this model is tall and relies on a very small footprint for the threaded base, bed adhesion is the most critical factor for a successful print.
- Build Plate Adhesion: A brim is mandatory. Use a 5mm to 8mm outer brim to secure the small threaded base to the build plate.
- Print Speeds: Slow down the first layer speed (e.g., 20-30 mm/s) to guarantee the initial threads bite into the plate. If you are printing a full plate of these on a coreXY machine, consider reducing the overall acceleration slightly to prevent the nozzle from knocking the tall bulbs loose near the top of the print.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm works best to keep the threads smooth and ensure the passthrough mechanism glides without catching.
- Infill: 10-15% Gyroid is plenty.
- Supports: None required. The internal angles are designed to bridge and build upon themselves.
- Clean your plate: Wash your build plate with dish soap and warm water before running a full bed of these to avoid mid-print spaghetti.
