Bill of Materials
Description
This model represents the vanguard of the bravest warriors, combining aerodynamic aesthetics with heavy armor.
⚙️ Print Parameters (Optimized for Speed and Strength)
For this model, we will use NOVA-3D's High-Speed profile to ensure the structure is solid yet quick to produce.
| Parameter | Suggested Value | Technical Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Material | PLA High-Speed (HS) | To maximize your machine's 500 mm/s. |
| Nozzle | 0.6 mm CHT | Higher volumetric flow and thicker walls. |
| Layer Height | 0.24 mm | The "sweet spot" between visual detail and speed. |
| Wall Count | 4 perimeters | Enough for the helmet to be rigid and withstand post-processing. |
| Infill | 12% Gyroid | Strong internal structure that doesn't vibrate at high speed. |
| Temperature | 230°C - 235°C | To melt the PLA HS at the rate required by the CHT. |
| Supports | Tree Type | Only "from the bed" to avoid marking facial details. |

🛠️ Post-Processing Tips for the Valkyrie Vanguard
To make this helmet look like real metal:
- Base sanding: Use 120-grit sandpaper to remove the few layer lines left by the Kobra 3.
- Primer: Apply two coats of "Filler Primer" (filling primer).
- Paint: A dark metallic color with "dry brushing" techniques in silver will give it that look of having survived a thousand battles.
