Tablet stand – print in place

A compact yet sturdy tablet stand that’s super easy to open and close with one hand. It offers the perfect viewing angle and takes up little space in a backpack when folded. This makes it ideal for schoolchildren and college students. When closed, the flap locks into place so it won’t open accidentally. Suitable for tablets with a thickness of 5 to 11 mm. The model is adjustable, so it can be customized to your specific needs.

Tip: Add self-adhesive silicone feet to prevent the tablet from sliding on the table while in use. 

Profile thicknesses: 

• Slot width: 6 mm (tablet thickness: up to 6mm) 
• Slot width: 7 mm (tablet thickness: from 6 to 7mm) 
• Slot width: 8 mm (tablet thickness: from 7 to 8mm) 
• Slot width: 9 mm (tablet thickness: from 8 to 9mm) 
• Slot width: 10 mm (tablet thickness: from 9 to 10mm) 
• Slot width: 11 mm (tablet thickness: from 10 to 11mm) 

Measure your tablet and choose the profile that is 0.5–1 mm larger. 

This ensures that the tablet lies flat against the entire surface of the flap, not just along the top edge. 

Print settings:  

• 3 Walls  
• The thin area has been reinforced using a modifier: 25% infill and 5 solid bottom layers. If you use the generator, you can apply these settings to the entire model. 
• Print speed for top layer: 50 mm/s 

Customizable Features 

The following parameters can be adjusted: 

• Width: from 65 to 300 mm 
• Depth: from 90 to 300 mm 
• Slot width: from 5 to 11 mm 

Note: Width and depth are measured from the edges (see sketch). Due to the rounded edges, the total width and total depth are 3 mm bigger:

Tip: If you use the tablet only in landscape mode, a depth of 100 mm is sufficient. The standard model measures 100 x 160mm (width x depth).
