Description

A cubby to replace the 350z factory head unit. Allows access to bolts behind panel which are blocked by replacing the original cubby with a new head unit.

The ‘Cubby Frame’ part is bolted into where the factory unit would normally be with the same bolts. Once the centre column panel is fully secured back in place then the ‘Cubby Sleeve’ part slides in and is bolted in place. The face plate can be glued to the sleeve section but will also friction fit snugly enough.

On my own print I used the ‘Fuzzy Skin’ setting on the front of the face plate for a better finish. I lined the inside of the ‘Cubby Sleeve’ and the section of the ‘Cubby Frame’ that you can see with Suede interior wrap.

My version has USB ports for my Specific head unit which I have removed for the general model uploaded here. Otherwise there would just be 3 holes in the back of it for anyone without USB ports.

Requires 12 M5 x 8 Bolts.
