DnD Adult Black Dragon - D&D Monster Manual Day 74
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is the seventy fourth day of a project to make every mini in the 2014 Monster Manual for my friend who is planning a gauntlet game - we will be fighting every monster in it!
I'll be doing one monster a day until it's done. Follow the collection and my page to see how they turn out!
These are made using Makerlab's Image to 3D model, and then tidied up in Blender.

Today's monster is the ferocious Adult Black Dragon!
Not quite the powerhouse of an Ancient dragon - the adult black dragon is still formidable among swampy ruins.
It is scaled as a huge creature - but scale it how you like.
Please take care when rescaling that the parts are thick enough to print.
If you want to base it yourself, I have included a no base profile.
Please take care removing supports, especially on the legs, head, wings and tail.
Snipping the supports is a good idea.
Remember, superglue works magic!
Pictured grid is 2cm X 2cm.
Weird artifacts fixed on this model:
- thickened wing armature, arms, legs, and tail
- added support skull for right leg
- thickened up spines to allow fdm printing
I have lots of models for you to print:
- Follow the whole 2014 monster manual project
- Build modular mechs with the DarkWoods sets
- Terrain and Scatter
- Bases
- Minis
- Decor
- And my favourite - the mimics
Happy gaming!
