If you like this model, please boost it — it helps me keep making more weird, creepy, and awesome prints like this 🙌

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ FIRST ⚠️

When I first printed this model, I planned to remove all the supports… but honestly, they actually enhance the infected look and add to that messy zombie aesthetic 🧠🔥

If you do decide to remove them:

  • PLA Glow is harder and more stubborn than standard PLA
  • Supports are firm and well-bonded, especially around the lower edges
  • You’ll need to carefully work into the edges and slowly “jimmy” them out
  • Take your time — this isn’t a quick cleanup job

🧠 Important design note:

  • There is intentionally a hole in the back of the brain — this represents the infected area
  • If removing supports here, you’ll need smaller tools to get inside and work them loose
  • It’s a bit fiddly… almost like operating on the real thing 😏

👉 I’ve included a photo showing where to start and what to expect

This is easily one of the most challenging prints I’ve done so far, but the result is absolutely worth it 👌

🧠 INFECTED GLOW BRAIN 🧠

Straight from a failed lab experiment…

This Infected Glow Brain is designed to look organic, chaotic, and unsettling — like it’s still mutating 🧪💀

The real magic though? The glow.
Printed in glow filament, this thing comes alive in the dark, making it a serious standout piece and the main draw of the model 👻✨

👉 Or just print it in a clean matte colour — it still looks incredible. The glow just adds that extra layer of atmosphere, but it’s definitely not required.

🧪 WHERE TO PUT IT

This thing shines anywhere, but here are some killer ideas:

  • 🧟 Halloween setups / haunted houses
  • 🧪 Inside a glass jar with a science label (looks insanely real)
  • 🖥️ Desk or workstation centrepiece
  • 🎮 Gamer room / streaming background
  • 🎥 Film props or photography scenes
  • 🧰 Workshop / maker space decor
  • 🏠 Shelf display or curiosity cabinet
  • 🍻 Bar / man cave conversation starter
  • 🧠 “Specimen” display with other weird prints

🛠️ PRINT NOTES

  • Designed for FDM printing
  • Best results with PLA Glow filament
  • Supports can be left on for extra effect
  • 0.2mm layer height recommended
  • Standard settings work great

💡 PRO TIP

Charge it under a bright light, then turn off the lights…
The glow is what makes this thing next level 😏
