Printing Advice

For the eyes, I had to go to the limits that a 0.4 mm nozzle can handle. For larger parts, the clearance that I used would be sufficient, but at this "microscopic" scale, the seams is relitvely bulky and makes it hard to handle. Thus, you need a cutter and a bit of patience to make the eye pieces fit.

As alternatives, you can

  1. process the eye parts with a cutter to remove the seam and elephant feet or
  2. print the eye parts with a 0.2 mm nozzle or
  3. print the eyes of the AMS version, which are printed as a single multicolor part or
  4. print the black part in TPU and the yellow in PLA, so that the black part bend a bit when inserting the yellow part or
  5. use a hair dryer to heat and soften the parts.
