Description
Add a touch of strength and elegance to your collection with this stylized Chibi Rhinoceros. The model was designed to maximize the output of metallic or iridescent (PLA Silk) filaments, enhancing the muscular and compact forms with a clean and modern design
The secrets of this print (as pictured):
Although the design is spectacular in itself, the "antique metallic" result you see in the photo is achieved by printing the model in black PLA and applying a subsequent finish with the Drybrushing technique. Using a nearly dry brush and Gold or Bronze acrylic paint, you can highlight the layer lines of the 3D print, transforming them into an artistic texture that simulates molten metal or antique bronze
Printing tips:
- Layer height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm (the layer lines help the drybrush effect!)
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid recommended)
- Supports: Not necessary (the model is optimized for printing-in-place)
- Recommended material: Black PLA (if you want to paint it), PLA Silk Gold/Bronze/Copper (for an immediate result)
