Lowered rear shock towers for the Axial SCX10.3 Basecamp kit.

I designed these while fitting a RC4WD 1987 Toyota Xtra Cab hard body to my Basecamp. The stock rear shock towers sit too high to clear the bed of the hard body without cutting holes in it.

These towers lower the rear shock mounting position and give options to move the shocks farther forward so a few different shock lengths can be used and still clear the bed floor.

They are designed to work with my hard body slider mounts, but may also be useful for other hard body or bed floor setups where the stock shock position causes interference.

I used these with shorter 80mm Injora shocks and mounted them a bit farther forward than stock. You will likely need to experiment slightly with shock length and mounting position depending on your setup.

For my truck these were used along with:

These were made for my personal build, but I figured I would share them in case they help someone else doing a similar hard body conversion.

See the CKRC Garage YouTube channel for the truck breakdown and how these are installed.
