Description
My monitor (Redmi 27NF) has always lacked a riser, so since I have a 3D printer, I definitely made one myself. I found a piece of wood in the storage room, and that's how I started.
The overall height is 83mm. The desktop board is 18mm thick, but I only found 9mm thick boards, so I stacked two layers. I recommend buying a solid wood board online, either 15mm or 20mm thick will work. The bottom clearance of 65mm is completely sufficient for a keyboard and mouse.
The total width of the stand is 40mm. The top edge has raised stops on the sides to accommodate a board 200mm wide and 18mm thick. The monitor itself weighs only about 5-6kg, so there's no need to add hardware or glue for fixation; just place the desktop board on the stand, and it's extremely stable.
The stand's design was inspired by arch bridges; it features an entirely hollowed-out design. I went through 6 revisions during the design process, and this one looks good, so I'm sharing it.
Of course, if you have other size requirements, please contact me to modify the dimensions; a boost would be even better.
