Description

90-degree and 45-degree curve packs, with a 45-degree bank, compatible with common die cast tracks with a removable connector.

It includes three curve sizes – these curves are designed to have small gaps when placed next to each other, so that cars will not hit the outer wall of the previous curve when driving on an inclined track surface.

Original - shown in red on the build - printable on the A1 mini - a separate configuration has been uploaded for the A1 mini in which the other two curves have been removed.

Large size - shown in blue on the build plate - cannot print on A1 mini

Extra Large - Shown in yellow on the build plate - Cannot print on A1 mini

Besides the A1 mini, all three 90-degree curves can be printed on a single printhead. You can print them individually, or all at once. The a1 mini is capable of printing all of the 45 degree versions, so you can print 2 to make a 90, etc.

These curves have a steeper 45-degree incline compared to my other inclined curves with a 30-degree incline, and the walls have been modified to prevent cars from flying off at high speeds. Similar to my non-incline curves, these can be connected to form a complete circle if needed. They are also very durable and withstand being stepped on well, although I don't recommend stepping on them.

I designed them for a tight fit, so depending on the connector you choose, you may need to push it into place from the bottom. The latest windmill-style connectors offer the tightest fit.

These models require very little supports!

I recommend using automatic tree support for printing with a threshold angle of 28. Although every printer is different, some minor cleanup may be necessary.

Here is a 45degree banked track if you do not have or want to use a straight flexible track.  https://makerworld.com/en/models/2747043-flat-to-45deg-banked-track-1-64-diecast-compatible
