Support removal tips: I find that long-nose pliers and a hook pick tool are useful for removing small, delicate supports. *Sometimes tiny delicate little parts can break during support removal, but simply use a superglue gel with a toothpick to attach the pieces together.Ā

Only Yesterday is a reflective, deeply personal story about memory, identity, and choosing the life you truly want. It follows Taeko, a 27-year-old office worker in Tokyo who takes a trip to the countryside to help with the safflower harvest. As she travels, she begins to recall vivid memories from her childhood, particularly moments from when she was ten years old.
These memories surface alongside her present-day experiences, revealing how her younger selfās dreams, insecurities, and small but meaningful moments have shaped who she has become. Through conversations with Toshio, a kind and thoughtful farmer, Taeko begins to question the path her life has taken.
As past and present intertwine, Taeko is faced with an emotional realization about what truly makes her happy and whether she has been living authentically. The film is a quiet, introspective exploration of growing up, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to follow your heart, even later in life.
