⚓ Corsair Monument (Ibiza) - Large Size Edition

This model is a detailed and optimized replica of the emblematic Corsair Monument, located in the port of Ibiza. Erected in 1915, it is the only monument in the world dedicated to corsairs, who protected the coasts of the Balearic Islands from pirate attacks for centuries.

The original obelisk especially honors Captain Antoni Riquer, a local hero who in 1806 captured the powerful English privateer Felicity.

📦 Modular Design for Large Scale Printing

To maximize visual impact and allow for an imposing print of approximately 35 cm in height, this model has been designed modularly.

The model is divided into 3 main parts:

1. The Spire: The upper pyramidal obelisk with the inscription.
2. The Central Body: The pedestal with the reliefs and the laurel wreath.
3. The Base: The stepped lower structure.

🔧 Connectors Included: I have included connection pins and slots designed with precise tolerances. This allows you to print each part separately, making the most of your printer's build volume (even on 220x220 mm beds), and assemble them firmly.

🖨️ Printing and Assembly Tips

• Material: A filament with a marble finish (PLA Marble) or stone gray is highly recommended to replicate the original texture of the monument.
• Resolution: 0.16mm or 0.2mm to properly capture the engraved letters and ship reliefs.
• Scaling: This model is optimized for its maximum size (approx. 35 cm). It is not recommended to reduce it significantly, as connector tolerances might vary.
• Assembly: Once the 3 parts are printed, apply a small amount of superglue (cyanoacrylate) to the contact surfaces and connectors for a permanent and solid bond.
