Snaplock SUNLU AMS Heater Latch

EDIT: I added a second print profile that has a slightly tighter fit if you prefer a slightly stronger clamping force of the latch. Only the latch itself is modified so if you already printed and installed the latch assembly on the AMS Heater, just print the latch only and replace it on your heater leaving the top and bottom receptables untouched.

This is a snaplock latch for the SUNLU AMS heater.

I slightly modified the regular snaplock latch so that it provides enough clamping force while being easy to latch and release. This will allow installation just by using double side tape, just make sure it can withstand 70C.

The latch will allow to secure by clamping the AMS heater to the AMS frame which will allow using an AMS Flipper without risking the AMS Heater to open and break its hinges (or worse…).

You may also try it to improve sealing but it was not the primary purpose and I don’t think it will help much in addition to the weight of the heater which I believe is sufficient to provide sealing.

You can use either one on the front or one on each side or any combination as it can be installed anywhere. I am using one on each side myself.

Please print it in PETG or ABS/ASA.
