Description
This is a redesigned and optimized version of the FX Picatinny and/or Arca Swiss rail, developed to improve structural rigidity, weight efficiency, and overall functionality.
The component is compatible with all FX Impact bottle configurations ranging from 480cc to 580cc. It integrates a dual-interface mounting system, combining an Arca Swiss rail for tripod attachment and an extended Picatinny rail section for bipod mounting.
This redesigned part replaces the factory trigger guard and introduces an improved load distribution concept by utilizing the air bottle as a structural support element. The geometry has been refined to increase stiffness and minimize deflection under load.
A precision contact-fit interface with the bottle ensures secure positioning while allowing for fast installation and removal without additional complexity.
The design has been further optimized for additive manufacturing, reducing unnecessary mass while maintaining mechanical strength. The use of ASA material is recommended due to its favorable properties, including impact resistance, temperature stability, and durability in outdoor conditions.
Compared to the previous iteration and typical aftermarket aluminum alternatives, this version achieves a lower weight with competitive or improved rigidity, depending on print quality and settings.
