I. Design Inspiration
Extracting the dual essence of Chinese garden 'framed scenery' aesthetics and Zen culture, with the round window as the visual core, integrating the three elements of young monks, lotuses, and bamboo into a miniature landscape. Round windows are classic elements of Eastern architecture, symbolizing completeness and transparency; young monks represent innocence and spiritual practice, lotuses are flowers of purity, and bamboo represents the integrity of a gentleman. The fusion of these four creates the artistic conception of 'Zen within the window, dust outside the window,' allowing incense burning to become a spiritual healing session for self-dialogue.
II. Form and Details
- Round Window Framed Scenery Structure: Features a crescent-shaped hollow window lattice design, with bamboo branches interwoven with the window grilles on the right side, enhancing the garden atmosphere and making the overall form light and not heavy, creating a visually rich layered effect under light and shadow.
- Zen Landscape Elements: Inside the window, a young monk meditates with closed eyes, serene in demeanor, with vivid details in his robes; on the left, lotus buds are just opening and lotus leaves are unfurling, while on the right, bamboo stalks are straight and leaves are vibrant. Every detail accurately restores natural forms, making the landscape rich and well-arranged.
- Lotus Core Incense Holder Design: The three-dimensional lotus in the center of the plate serves as the main incense holder, with a central hole compatible with standard stick incense. The incense stick stands upright like a lotus pistil, and blue smoke rises from the lotus core, passing through the window, creating a dynamic resonance with the landscape and a profound artistic conception.
- Ash Catching Tray Design: The round shallow plate base stably collects incense ash, keeping the desktop clean, and its rounded contour echoes the round window theme, making the overall design harmonious and unified, combining practicality with aesthetic appeal.
III. Texture and Scenarios
Warm milky apricot matte texture, delicate and jade-like to the touch, exuding a soft and warm ambiance, resistant to fingerprints, suitable for various home styles such as Neo-Chinese, log, and Zen.
- Study Desk: Burn incense while reading, creating a quiet and undisturbed Zen space for reading and contemplation.
- Tea Room Tea Ceremony: As a centerpiece for tea ceremonies, it blends with the tea aroma, enhancing the ritualistic sense of tea gatherings and soothing body and mind.
- Zen Room for Worship: Expresses piety through Zen landscape, an elegant item for worshipping Buddha and spiritual practice.
- Home Decor: When not burning incense, it can serve as an independent art ornament, infusing living rooms, entryways, and other spaces with oriental Zen and healing vibes, also making it an excellent gift.
【Notes】
1. The central cylinder of the lotus must be set as a "negative part"!!
2. Be careful when removing supports, as the bamboo leaves are fragile and can break easily.
