Description

This design is a recreation of The Queen, a massive six legged spider like robot enemy from the game ARC Raiders from Embark Studios.

I've started this project 2 months ago with the idea of making it a posable model, with the top of the head being able to rotate, just like in the game.

So, I recreated The Queen to the best of my abilities and designed a posable joint system that, when assembling, you can chose the oriëntation of the legs (in a verical direction):

With the different connectors, you can build your Queen the way you like.

The Queen is a design where the body just cannot be supported by the legs. So a base is needed if you want to display it.

I wanted The Queen to be as imposing as in game, there for she is about 60 cm (24 inches) wide and about 22  cm (9 inches) high.

Since I wanted it to be massive in size, this model is designed to be max size for a P2S/X1C printer.
A1 and A1 mini's cannot print this one sadly.

Fan of ARC Raiders? Check out this collection.

Assembly

The design has about 160 parts. Each joint is 7 different parts clicking together.
Thankfully I was able to test a new assembly guide format from @chiz_m, check it out!

It takes you step by step through the whole building proces.

Profiles/variants

I've added a print profile with a bottom with and without base hole.
Also the base comes in 2 versions: a single part, and a cilinder you click into the base. That way you can chose how long you make it.

I've also added a test joint profile, so you can tweak it for your printer.

Remixable on Makerworld only

It is a functional model and prints and fits together perfectly. However I found it a model that people should get to be creative with.
Therefor this model is available for remixes on Makerworld exclusivly.
If you want to make another base, or a different form of connector, add electronics, sound effects, a motor, you can remix the file as you like.

I look forward seeing your creations!
