Description

Full size imitation of French riffle grenade "Viven-bessiére" also named "Grenade VB"

The VB grenade (Viven-Bessières) is a French rifle grenade invented in 1916 during World War I. It was mounted on the end of a rifle and launched using a blank cartridge. Upon impact, it exploded through a percussion mechanism. Easy to produce and with a range of 100 to 150 meters, it was widely used in trench warfare to strike enemies from a safe distance.
