Filament Storage

Boost Me (for free)

I SHAMELESSLY ASK PLEASE!! One click is all it takes, and it helps me get closer to achieving my goal of getting a free 3D Printer. I spent hours on this model, and if you like it, every boost gets me a dollar closer. I would really appreciate it and all it takes is a click!! :)

This is a pretty awesome card case with a super satisfying snap! I spend way too many iterations making sure this works perfectly. It should be able to fit all poker and bridge size cards that are thrown at it. It is the only one that I have seen with a track that lets you put on the top at an angle and seamlessly guide the two halves together. The smooth swoop, inspired by Filament Owl's Deck Case, allowes there to be almost no sharp edges. There is super thin layer lines make it have a seemingly frictionless slide and extremely premium feel. I plan on posting a new model in the next week or two that is parametric and will be able to take every single size of card that is made, but this one is absolutely perfect for a deck of cards. Have Fun Printing!!!

I absolutely love how this turned out, but it is hard to open. Is it possible that I am opening it wrong?

i am pretty new to 3D printing. i tried to print the smaller part with this yellow PLA mate. Do you know how can I fix those corners? They look pretty bad. Except the corners, this looks amazing

Try washing your plate with dish soap, it will help with adhesion. You have to be careful to not touch your plate excessively because the oils on your hand will cause adhesion issues. If it doesn’t work, then let me know.

the plate was pretty clean. I have to addmit that I did some prints from the last wash. Anyway, I tried today with the plate fresh clean and the results are the same. Maybe is the filament, I will try again tomorrow with a different color

In the slicer, right click the model, click split, then “to objects.” This should make the two halves separate.

Im sure you could probably fit some in there, but I havent yet made one specifically for them. I will be making a parametric version of this soon and maybe that would be better, but it doesnt have individual sleeves. It was designed for playing cards.

I don't understand much about design technicals but it weighs a little too much for a card case. Secondly, it doesn't close very easily and the print turned out to be unfinished. I'll share an image as I reach home.

It is meant for a 52-card deck, but you can fit 55 if you want to. I am going to post a parametric version soon.

No, it is just a ridge that makes the case snap together
