Description

🦖 Cute Carnotaurus "Toro" – CARTOON EDITION (noAMS)

This adorable figurine represents a stylized Carnotaurus. Meet Toro, a charming little predator with big eyes and a friendly expression. With its "chibi" style and rounded shapes, it is perfect as a desk decoration, a gift for dinosaur lovers, or a playful accessory for a child’s room.

You can easily recognize Toro by its signature features, which are playfully highlighted on this model:

  • Signature Horns: The two prominent horns above its eyes, which give the species its name (Carnotaurus = "meat-eating bull"). The name "Toro" (Spanish for "bull") perfectly fits this unique characteristic.
  • Short Snout: Unlike other predators, it has a deep but short skull, giving it a unique, almost bulldog-like appearance.
  • Tiny Forelimbs: A classic trait of this species—its arms are even smaller than those of the famous T-Rex, which looks especially cute in this stylized version.

🖨 Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm also works for finer detail)
  • Perimeters: 2
  • Infill: 8% gyroid
  • Supports: Organic supports required
  • Surface effect: Fuzzy skin (optional, user-defined in slicer)
    • Point distance: 0.3 mm
    • Thickness: 0.3 mm The fuzzy skin effect can add a subtle, slightly rough texture resembling dinosaur skin.

IMPORTANT: Due to the model's anatomy, organic supports are necessary. Please be extremely careful when removing supports around the front limbs (arms), as they are very delicate and could break if handled roughly.

📏 Model Size

  • Standard height: 10 cm
  • Scaling options: Scaling up works without any issues. Scaling down may make eye assembly more difficult due to the small parts.

🎨 Color Unit

No color unit (AMS, ACE PRO, or others) is required. The model can be printed easily on a single-color printer by printing the eyes separately.

🧩 Assembly

Each eye consists of three parts, which are inserted directly into Toro’s head and secured with a drop of glue. The assembly process is simple and suitable even for beginners.

🗂 Print Plates

  • Plate 1 – Carnotaurus body
  • Plates 2-4 – Individual eye colors (black / white / color of your choice) for printers without a color unit
  • Plate 5 – Complete pair of eyes printed using sequential printing for AMS / ACE Pro users

📦 Available Files

  • 3MF files for BambuLab (Bambu Studio), Anycubic (Anycubic Slicer Next), and Elegoo (Elegoo Slicer)
