Large Mug Protection Lid

We had a problem that needed to be solved. Every time we tried to enjoy a cup of herbal tea or snack on some ice cream, we had an adorable thief show up. Even once we were done, she would shove her furry-face into the mug and knock it over. So, I invented these simple lids. They actually snap onto our mugs (which are about 112mm around or  4-3/8".) They would likely just rest on top of smaller mugs, but may be able to be scaled down for a snug fit. There's a little scoop to help keep spoons in the mug. Smarter pets may figure out how to flip loose-fitting lids off the cup. They also help minimize spills when our kids are moving snacks from one room to another.

I have included the 2 designs I made: “Agent of Chaos” and “Darth Kitty.” There is also a blank one that can be customized.

I printed these at .16mm layer height, and 15% infill with PLA. They should be hand washed and may warp with very hot liquids.
