Description
I printed many versions of this flexible decal to finally achieve a complete result. Previously, I had a lot of spaghetti and detachments
If you want a full wrap-around effect, you can refer to the following model
The logo design comes from Wikipedia's official standard model (model file updated), and the overall model thickness is 0.5mm, achieving the effect of a flexible decal—with minimal thickness or protrusion, and it can be freely bent
It adheres well even to the surface of a round standing air conditioner
The print parameters are already set and can be used directly
Additionally, the model file might only have uploaded the process parameters, but changes to the filament parameters may not have been saved. It is recommended to check the filament parameters and slightly lower the temperature for the textured PEI plate (for PETG filament)
Adjust the print parameters to make the carbon fiber texture more prominent
Finally, it is recommended to apply glue to the print bed and use PVP glue stick (different from PVA glue stick | 3D printer bed adhesive) to achieve better adhesion (make sure the glued area completely covers the part where the model touches the bed, but do not cover the entire bed)
Both PAP and PVA glue sticks are water-soluble and can be removed by wiping the print bed and model surface with water after printing. PVA glue stick hardens and loses adhesion above 60℃, while PVP has a temperature resistance of 80℃+. If the 3D printer bed adhesive that adheres to the model surface is wiped off, it will remove the pattern
After printing is complete, in addition to cleaning the glue from the print bed, remember to wipe the model surface clean with water
The product has a height of 82mm, which generally matches the size used on the original car's front cover

The carbon fiber texture is not only suitable for black, you can also try other colors (for light-colored prints, be sure to clean the print bed thoroughly)
