A friendly tip: try loosening the mechanism by bending the fingers themselves (not from the rings) first ;). And make sure your plate is clean!
The third version of the overengineered mechanical fidget hand is here!
More over engineered than ever! It took waaaay longer than expected, but it’s finally here. After countless prototypes and different mechanisms, I finally got it to work! Now, after all that time, you can finally enjoy a moving thumb. Of course, there are some more subtle changes to make the hand more comfy.
This awesome print is fully functional straight off the printer—no supports and no assembly required. Control the hand by pulling the rings; you’ll be surprised at how strong the grip is! It’s ridiculously fun to grab anything (and anyone) around the house.
Thank you all for your support on my last two versions. I hope you enjoy this one as well!
