Description

⚠️ WARNING: Placing the Bambu Lab A1 Mini inside an enclosed space can lead to overheating and potential damage to its internal components. The cooling solution presented here is designed to reduce, but will not eliminate that risk.

Background
Full disclosure, I do not own an A1 Mini. A user saw my A1 cooling kit and asked me if I could create an enclosure cooling solution for the A1 Mini. This model is the result of his A1 Mini measurements and my attempt to solve the problem that prints on open-frame printers are prone to warping and cracking. I can't promise that you will be able to print ASA with the A1 Mini but with an enclosure you will at least be able to regulate temperature and protect your print from gusts of wind.

How it works
The duct is designed to cool the motherboard components while also pulling heat from the power supply unit.

1. The cooler air from outside is pushed in to the chassis through the side.
2. The warm air from the power supply unit is pulled out from the top of the chassis.

Mounting
You attach the cooling duct by sliding it on from the front, over the screen. The duct is correctly positioned when the small side vent holes are no longer visible through the left fan opening.

Fans are mounted using the "A1 Enclosure Cooling Kit" found in the link below. The kit contains fittings that you can attach both to the duct and to the enclosure walls.
