3D Chocolatier MK2 | A Chocolate Extruder

Intro

This is the second version of the 3D Chocolatier chocolate extruder. It pretty much says what it is in the name, it's a kit that allows you to convert pretty much any 3d printer with a removable toolhead and a mounting plate into a chocolate making machine! The model includes all of the 3d printed parts required and some other reference parts that your not actually supposed to print. This current version can print materials like peanut butter, nutella, and other similar paste stuff.

Build Instructions

This current version does not have clear instructions but if you are looking to build it, reference the cad model and feel free to message me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. The final working version will have instructions but I have chosen to wait until the design is perfected before I spend time on making instructions. Thanks for understanding.

End Goal

The final goal is a mostly 3d printed extruder that can be easily added to most printers that allows it to print delicious chocolate!

Hardware

• assorted m3 screws (I got mine from amazon)
• 8 magnets from maker's beginner kit (D4x2mm Round Magnets)
• 100x100mm heated build plate mat (amazon)
• Linear motor that can move a lead screw up and down (some random company in china because amazon doesn't sell it)
• 3D printer nozzles (amazon)
• super glue (amazon)

Filament

• heat resistant filament (PETG-CF)
• two colors of PLA (I used Black and white PLA matte)
