Description
The Break Away Wand is a comedic magic wand designed to create a surprise effect during a performance At first glance it looks like a normal wand, but when a spectator or an assistant tries to use it, the internal structure suddenly gives way: the wand "disassembles" or collapses into multiple segments
The Break Away Wand uses an internal mechanism based on a tensioned thread (nylon thread is recommended) that runs through all segments of the wand When the thread is pulled taut, it keeps the various elements aligned and compressed, making the wand appear rigid and normal
The moment the key component is removed, the tension is released: the thread loosens and the segments lose the restraint that held them together Consequently, the structure collapses immediately, creating the comedic effect of a self-disassembling wand The system allows for quick restoration simply by re-establishing the thread tension by re-inserting the key component
