Description

Hello!

These are the small wind deflection parts that sit right at the handlebars on all BMW R1200/R1250 GS/GSA models from 2013- 2024.

These were 3D scanned for dimensional accuracy. The photos shown are prototyped prints on my personal bike to check for fitment. These are 3D scanned but there were small modifications made to the design so that it would be as close to the original as possible without any issues.

These will need some level of post processing to obtain the cleanest finish possible. The ones shown in the photos were printed in ABS with some sanding and a coating of UV resistant clear coat. As I mentioned above, the shown prints are prototypes.

The print profile is in ABS but you could print these in any material that could withstand constant sunlight.

If you have any recommendations or want to purchase a commercial license for these please let me know. Thank you.

UPDATE.

I have been working on refining the end result prints over the last week or so. The 3D scan has some voids where the software makes it water tight and leaves some crevices looking somewhat abnormal on the final print. In the next few days I will have a refined version with a small aero dynamic improving channel on the bottom of the deflectors.

Print was great, just might want to update the description. The R1200GS (non-adventure) only has one bolt at this location holding the tank/fairing. I have a 2016 GS and the shape was correct even for the smaller tank, mounts jsut didnt match up.

This is good to know. my dad has a 17 GS and his bike did not have any place for these to be mounted. I guess its a case by case basis depending on what trim you have in the GS line up
