Print Profile(1)

Description
About the Football
This is a fully airless American football, 3D printed in 95A TPU for durability, flexibility, and consistent performance. The ball is modeled to regulation dimensions and internally cored to achieve regulation weight, giving it a realistic heft without relying on air pressure.

Why TPU?
95A TPU strikes a great balance between rubber-like grip and structural stability. It absorbs impacts well, resists cracking, and has just enough flex to feel natural when thrown or caught—making it ideal for an airless sports ball.
Printing Notes
• Designed for TPU-compatible printers
• Prints well with standard TPU profiles
• For an even more realistic feel and improved grip, consider enabling fuzzy skin in your slicer (not shown in photos). A subtle fuzzy skin can closely mimic the texture of a traditional football.
Perfect for practice, backyard play, novelty prints, or just showing off what flexible filaments can do—this airless football is built to be thrown, squeezed, and enjoyed without ever worrying about going flat.
Print Size Expectations
Be aware that a regulation size football is very large! (This model is 285mm in length) Unless you scale it down, this will not fit on all printers.
To scale the football down to fit your printer, simply use the scaling tool in your slicer. It will still make a fun ball to throw around!
Recommended Settings:
Beware that TPU must be printed slowly!!! Printing at default speeds will almost surely lead to nozzle clogs. This will be a LONG print so, you don’t want a clog in the middle of it!
