Overview

This modular lighting system is engineered to integrate seamlessly with IKEA SKÅDIS pegboards or standard wall mounts, allowing you to create dynamic light bars, shelves, or decorative layouts. It combines practical storage potential with ambient LED lighting, making it ideal for desks, gaming setups, workshops, or creative interiors.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the system lets you build anything from a simple straight light bar to complex geometric arrangements with corners and extensions.

Technical Details

• Compatibility: IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard + standard wall mounting
• Recommended Material: PLA (tested)
• Layer Height: ~0.2 mm
• Infill:
  • 5% (standard parts for better light diffusion)
  • 10–15% (mounts and structural components)
• Depth: ~150 mm modules
• LED Support: Flexible LED strips (≤12 mm width)

Assembly

• The the smaller gap for the part (LightStripHanger.stl) hangs on the board
• The larger gap holds the LED light strip bar in places (ModularLEDLightStrip.stl)
• Each (ModularLEDLightStrip.stl) holds one section of the light strip
• The end of the light strips section connect to another end
