Description

💀 Axe Beaks

These plates feature the Axe Beaks, large, flightless birds known for its speed, aggression, and its distinctive axe-shaped beak. Often used as mounts by goblins and other creatures, axe beaks are equally dangerous in the wild, capable of delivering powerful, cleaving strikes with their sharp, blade-like bills.

This set of Axe Beaks includes:

  • Axe Beak
  • Giant Axe Beak

🤔 Why These Meeples Exist

I’ve been slowly working through the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual, redesigning creatures as clean, printable meeple silhouettes. The goal is simple: create monsters that are easy to print, easy to store, and instantly recognizable on the table. Traditional minis look amazing, but they take up a lot of space and often require supports, painting, and careful storage. These meeple monsters give you a compact, support-free alternative that still captures the identity of each creature while fitting neatly into a small box or organiser.

This has now evolved into side quests in player character and terrain too!
