Description

The Navarre Kayak Fishing tool holder on the Old Town Autopilot 120 / 136 is great for tools but has no place for small trash.

This print clips into half of the tackle slot and holds a standard dog-waste bag open for line clippings, soft plastic scraps, and other debris. The other half of the slot remains available for a Plano 3500 box.

When the bag fills up, pull it out and throw it away. The clip can stay installed between trips.

What It Is

This is a small bracket that:

  • Clips into the Navarre tool holder tackle slot
  • Holds a dog-waste bag open
  • Uses about half the slot width
  • Leaves room for a Plano 3500 tackle box

It provides a place for small trash while fishing.

Printing

Recommended materials:

  • PETG
  • ASA

These handle sun exposure and heat better than PLA.

Typical settings:

  • 0.2 mm layer height
  • 5-6 walls
  • 15–25% infill

No supports required.

Installation

  1. Slide the bracket into the tackle slot of the Navarre tool holder
  2. Pull a dog-waste bag from the roll
  3. Open the bag and tuck the rim under the frame
  4. Fish

Remove and discard the bag when finished.

The bracket can stay on the tool holder between trips.

Compatibility

Designed for:

  • Navarre Kayak Fishing Tool Holder
  • Old Town Autopilot 120 / 136

Notes

Dog-waste bags work well because they are compact, waterproof, and easy to replace. I keep a roll in the kayak and pull one as needed.

Typical uses:

  • Line clippings
  • Torn soft plastics
  • Packaging scraps
  • Snack wrappers
