Tent Peg / Tent Stake Tip Protector

This is a simple protective cover designed for the sharp tips of tent pegs.
It helps prevent accidental injuries and protects other gear when storing or transporting pegs.

Why I Made This

I designed this to make storing and carrying tent pegs safer during camping trips. Sharp peg tips can easily damage bags or other gear, and this small cover helps prevent that.

Features

The cover slides onto the tip of the peg and stays in place with a snug fit.
It is useful when packing pegs together with other gear or carrying them in a camping bag or toolbox.

Compatible Peg Size

This model is designed for tent pegs with a diameter of approximately 4.6 mm.

If your pegs have a different diameter, you can easily adjust the size by scaling the model in your slicer before printing.

Printing Notes

For outdoor use, materials with good weather resistance are recommended.
ASA or ABS are good choices because they provide better durability against sunlight and outdoor conditions.

PLA can also be used, but it may degrade more quickly if exposed to outdoor environments for long periods.

I printed this model in ABS on a smooth PEI build plate without a brim, and it printed successfully.
Depending on your printer or build surface, you may want to add a brim for better adhesion.
