Servo-T Cases

 

A series of cases for the cheap flimsy Servo testers.

 

My mate asked me to make him a egg drop device for his RC plane which was a fun project, so I got hold of a Servo Tester to test it as I was working on it.  

I found the case a bit flimsy so got side tracked and made a slide on cover for it, then I got carried away and created another 3 cases which may or may not be of use to anyone else, but I enjoyed making them. :)

 

The Servo-T Profile:    A quick basic slide on case that only uses 6g of filament. Print and slide on!

 

 

The Servo-T Protect:   A full case that just replaces the original.

requires 4 x M3 brass inserts - 4 x M3 x 6 or 8mm Hex bolts

 

 

The Servo-T Power:    A Full case that also adds a USB C power option.

requires 4 x M3 brass inserts - 4 x M3 x 6 or 8mm Hex bolts - A USB C Charging Power Socket

 

        

 

You will need to solder the charging socket to the underside of the Tester board, Positive (red) wire to the middle pin (marked 5v on the upper side of the board) and Ground  (black) wire to the pin closest to the board edge(marked - on the upper side of the board). BEFORE YOU SOLDER, feed the power cable wires through the little circular hole inside the power socket cut out!

The Servo-T Portable:  A Full case that is independently powered by a rechargeable 3.7v pouch battery. 

I am having an issue with this version so I will only put it up if there is any demand for it, so let me know if you would like to have a go at making one. 

requires:   4 x M3 brass inserts - 4 x M3 x 6 or 8mm Hex bolts - A USB C Charging socket

                   TP4056 Charge Board, XL6009 Boost Board, 3.7v Pouch Battery (503040 or similar), 15mm round ON/OFF 2 pin switch.
