“Argonath” Bookend – Inspired by The Lord of the Rings
This bookend is inspired by the majestic Argonath, the legendary Pillars of the Kings that guard the northern entrance to Gondor in The Lord of the Rings. The design captures the imposing presence of these colossal statues, with their raised hands in a gesture of warning and authority, just as seen in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
Designed for 3D printing, the model functions as both a decorative and practical bookend. The statue rises from the structural base of the support, creating the impression that one of the ancient kings is standing guard over your book collection. The sculpted details emphasize the armor, crown, and monumental presence of these iconic figures inspired by the world created by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Printing recommendations
Versions included
This download includes three different versions of the bookend, allowing users to choose the one that best fits their printing setup or aesthetic preference.
- For proper weight and stability, it is recommended to print the model with an infill between 75% and 95%. And need support
- A higher infill helps the bookend hold books securely and prevents it from sliding under load.
- For the best visual effect, printing with marble filament or a stone-like filament is highly recommended, as it enhances the appearance of carved stone and makes the statue look closer to the original Argonath monuments.
A perfect piece for fans of Middle-earth who want to add an epic and functional touch to their bookshelf.
