Description

Upgrade your Ford F-150 with this sleek, factory-style 5-switch panel. Designed specifically for the center console storage area, this panel provides a clean, professional mounting point for 12V accessories like off-road lights, air compressors, or auxiliary power.

This model is designed specifically for standard 20mm (3/4") Round Rocker Switches.

Because vehicle interiors can reach extreme temperatures (exceeding 70°C / 160°F in direct sun), standard PLA will warp and fail. * Material: ASA (Highly Recommended) or ABS. ASA offers the best UV resistance and thermal stability for car interiors.

  • Wall Loops: 99 (Solid Walls). This ensures the mounting tabs don't snap during installation and provides a solid "thud" feel when flipping switches.
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Infill: N/A (Solid walls handle this)
  • Supports: N/A

Installation Tips

  1. Material Choice: Do not use PLA or PETG for this. PETG may survive for a while, but ASA is my standard for automotive parts.
  2. Wiring: Ensure you have enough slack behind the panel to snap the switches in before sliding the panel into the console.
  3. Texture: If you want a factory look, consider using a Textured PEI plate to give the face of the panel a matte, professional finish that matches the Ford interior trim.

I will soon be working on 2026 ford f150. The console looks the same as for this plate is designed so i printed one already. I am just wondering, am i just supposed to take the rubber liner out and then what? How am i mounting this plate on the spot. Some more relatable photos or description will help. Thanks

Yes, the rubber insert needs to be removed for this to fit. While I do have an F150 I didn’t make this for personal use. it was something that someone was posting about in a Facebook group. Outside of printing it and testing fit with my switches I haven’t moved forward with installing. I was hoping that someone who completed the install would post some pictures.

Hopefully someone post pictures. I was initially thinking to make those side aligning tabs longer and use nut and bolt to secure it. I think it will work just fine. But i ended up going ahead and designing something with hinge that you can open and close as needed and secured by M3 nut and bolt. I will prolly post my design here someday. Thanks for sharing your profile. It helped me with dimensions of slot in console and for switches. Really appreciate it.

I have tried printing this 3 times in ABS and every one snapped in half when I pushed the switches in. not sure how to strengthen it in those snap points.

Are you printing with 99 walls? with the size of the switches and the narrow opening it is hard to get more strength in that area. maybe verify the size of the switch and some light sanding would help reduce the force needed to get your switches installed. I initially had the same issue but the wall count resolved it for me.
