This QNix 1500 battery holder insert allows you to safely use the device with an externally accessible 9V battery, protecting the original battery connector and making battery changes much faster.
When storing my QNix 1500 coating thickness gauge, I always remove the battery. Repeatedly plugging and unplugging the battery directly from the connector can eventually loosen or damage it.
This insert solves that problem by holding the battery connector securely inside a printed housing.
The holder slides perfectly into the device and clicks securely into place, while still being removable if needed. The battery can then be connected and disconnected easily from the outside.
