Preserve the Experience

An optional holder to showcase the artifacts collected throughout Cryptatrope: A Maker Adventure. Core models provided in Chapter 1.

This display container is intended to be printed after your adventure completes, but if you are waiting for parts (glow sticks or LEDs), there's no harm printing it in advance. It accommodates either the regular or deluxe stand. It also includes slots for 3 glow sticks.

How to Print

A preconfigured .3mf file is provided for Bambu users. Raw .stl files are provided for everyone else.

General Instructions

• Recommended color scheme: matte black PLA and silk gold PLA.
• Large rectangular objects are prone to warping. Use a high grip plate (like Biqu Frostbite) to mitigate.
• The lid provides a museum-like archival feel. Skip it if you intend to display the artifacts in the open.
• The spacer is only needed for the regular version of the stand, elevating it to the proper height.

Instructions for Non-Bambu Users

• Lid: Rotate to be face down. After slicing make sure the engravings are properly bridged.
• Color the engravings, slot borders, and side stripe to use an accent color (typically gold).
• Seam position: Back
• Wall generator: Arachne; Inner wall: 0.42 mm
• Surface pattern: Hilbert Curve for whichever surface is going to be visible (top surface for holder, bottom surface for rotated lid)
• Infill density: 10%; Infill pattern: Rectilinear
