Description

  • Dry the plastic on this spool only in a horizontal position (for example in a fruit dehydrator). Drying in a vertical position when exposed to 1 kg of plastic will most likely lead to deformation or print the spool from ABS or ASA.
  • The spool is not intended for vacuum packaging.
  • Not intended for use on side holder.
  • The use of a lock is mandatory.

I have added extra supports to the spool running outwards from the centre to the edges and filled 6 of the hexagons as well as added connectors between these.

These changes add a lot of rigidity and stiffness to the spool without adding much weight or filament use. This also adds to a new overall design.

The spool has a place for the Bambu Refill sticker, filament remaining meter and filament clip built into the edge. Markings on the filament remaining meter are approximate.

This remix is based on the model by VkvitV.

It's to lock the 2 spools together so they don't come apart during printing. If you look in the middle there's a slot for it

can you point out in the image where the tab is supposed to fit? i can't figure it out either. the spool doesnt lock in place very well either. it is taking a lot of force for them to connect. i am using bambu refill.

light, fast, well designed. I love the built in clips and the smooth locking mechanism.
