The Garden Buddy System (for precise seed spacing)

The Garden Buddy System makes planting perfectly spaced seeds a breeze! These simple gardening tools ensure that your seeds will be perfectly spaced every time without any measuring needed. There are two styles of Garden Buddy: 

• The Original Base System

Simply place the base on the soil with the “Garden Buddy” logo facing upwards and then drop a seed into the funneled openings at your desired spacing. Each hole is exactly one inch on center from the next hole so you can choose 1", 2", 3", 4", or 5" spacing vertically or horizontally. The base is exactly 6" x 6", so placing 4 bases in a 4x4 square works perfectly with the “Square Foot Gardening” method! 

• The Spike System

These pre-spaced spikes work as “dibbers” to put perfect holes in the soil with minimal fuss. The spikes are each just over 1 inch long and made sturdy to hold up to seasons of planting without issues. Just push the spikes into the soil once and then remove the Spike System before dropping your seeds into their new home. You can then adjust to the perfect depth with a gentle press of your finger.  Just like the Base system, these are perfect 6"x6" squares that can be used for the “Square Foot Gardening” method. 

Though these are designed for durability they are still quick and easy to print. There are absolutely no supports needed and each piece only takes around 2 hours to print in PLA with either a 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle and the included profiles!
