Hello to all 3D printing enthusiasts.
A bit of history before printing this historical monument =)
Legend has it that the history of Mont-Saint-Michel began in 708, after the Archangel Michael appeared to Bishop Aubert three times in a dream. Saint Michael is said to have asked him to build a sanctuary in his honor on an island called Mont-Tombe.
A statue of Saint Michael placed at the top of the abbey church culminates at 157.10 meters above the shore. A major element, the abbey and its dependencies are classified as historical monuments; the islet and the coastal strip of the bay have been listed since 1979 on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Furthermore, the mount benefits from a second global recognition as a stage of the Camino de Santiago in France for “pilgrims from Northern Europe (who) passed through the Mount when they went to Galicia.
