Lab bench power supply - Riden RK6006 PSU case

Compact case for Riden RK6006 and DPS5005 module, perfect to reuse an ac adapter from an old laptop or other types of PSU.

Required Material for the variable PSU:

• 8 self-tapping screws: 4/5 mm head and 3/2.5 mm thread with at least 1cm length,
• C14 socket for mains power supply 
• power switch. 
• Riden RK6006
• and old laptop (radial) fan for ventilation

Advice and considerations

1. I used a PSU from a POE power injector, nice for the relatively high voltage (55v)  even with a small footprint
2. The 3mm screw are a bit thought to screw in, so I heated them with a lighter before screwing to soften the plastic and cut the thread easier
