Description

This is a reproduction of the unit crest for 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment (3rd Brigade Combat Team) 82nd Airborne Division.  It was made for mounting to a plaque I am currently designing.

It does not have a solid color side, it prints face down, with mirrored side face up.  I found this provided the best quality.  It is 1mm thick, as I was not requiring a significantly sturdy model.

For an accurate reproduction of the original crest it will require the use of 6 colors. (Black, Red, Blue, White, Dark Grey, Grey)

I modified the initial line width on the 4mm model to .2 for finer detail.  The .2mm model retains the default settings.

Thanks for your support!

I use MakerLab's Image to Keychain (https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/imageToKeychain), I try to find the highest resolution version of the badge/logo/insignia, preferably from DOD or an official website. Then crop/clean it up and upload it to Image to keychain and fix the color defects in their editor. (It's mainly colors they mislabel or bleed over).
