Rex – PAW Patrol V2 (Rolling Wheels Version)

This is the V2 version of my Rex model from PAW Patrol.

In this updated version, the previously static wheels have been redesigned to print as functional rolling wheels — no extra assembly required. The model now includes a built-in axle system, allowing the wheels to rotate freely straight off the print bed.

If you printed the V1 version with fixed wheels, this is a great upgrade 🙂

The dimensions and recommended print settings remain unchanged from the original version.

• Dimensions: 60.8 mm x 78.0 mm x 82.2 mm
• File Types Included: STL and pre-configured .3mf file for Bambu Studio

Recommended Print Settings

Optimized for Bambu Lab printers using PLA Matte White:

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 3 walls
• Infill: 15% (Grid pattern)
• Supports: Required

Important Print Notes

The sample print shown in the images was printed using Variable Layer Height in Bambu Studio to improve surface quality on curved areas.

With Variable Layer Height enabled, the total print time was approximately 7–8 hours.

As always, make sure supports are properly generated around the ears and under the wheel assembly area for best results.
