Description

Celebrate Easter with this adorable 3D-printable Bunny Egg! This model isn't just a decoration; it's a functional surprise container designed specifically to fit a Kinder Surprise Egg (Ü-Ei) perfectly inside. Of course, it’s also great for other candies, small gifts, or even cash!

Key Features:

• Ear Styles: Give your bunny some personality! You can choose between classic straight ears or a cute floppy ear (lop-ear) design.

• Body Options: Mix and match the ears with two body versions—a clean, minimalist egg or the full bunny version with feet and a cute pom-pom tail.

• Tactile Texture: Features a beautiful ribbed design on the body and Fuzzy Skin on the ears, base, feet, and tail for a premium, soft-touch feel.

• Easy Screw Mechanism: The top and bottom are connected by a short, robust thread. I designed the threads with specific angles to ensure smooth printing without overhang issues.

• Perfect Fit: Specifically designed to hold a Kinder Surprise Egg (Ü-Ei), but also great for other candies or small gifts!

Customizing Fuzzy Skin

I have applied the Fuzzy Skin using the "Painting" tool in Bambu Studio. You can easily enable or disable it to your liking:

  1. Select the object in Bambu Studio.
  2. Go to the Fuzzy Skin painting tool.
  3. Use Left Click to apply or Right Click to remove the fuzzy texture from specific parts.

Print Settings Recommendations:

  • Infill: 3% Cross Hatch (This is more than enough for stability, while saving significant time and filament).
  • Supports: Not required! The internal threads and shapes are designed to be print-friendly.
  • Material: PLA works perfectly, but Matte or Silk PLA looks especially festive!

Whether as a small gift for kids (and adults!) or as a stylish piece of Easter decor, this bunny is ready to hop onto your build plate.

Happy Printing and Happy Easter! 🐣

Nice model , I like it and it closes perfectly. For the creator: as you can see in the pic the model with floppy ear ,feet and tail has a piece of feet inside the egg.

Oh my god, a mistake crept in there! I’ve re-uploaded the print profile immediately. Thanks so much for letting me know, I honestly didn't notice it.

The model prints without any problems and the ribbed texture on the body looks really nice. However, the top part with the ears seems slightly rotated compared to the bottom part with the feet, so they are not perfectly aligned.

I tried it over and over again until it finally fit and the ears were perfectly aligned with the bottom part. I must have printed about 10 different eggs until it worked, and after that, I tested it with various filaments. It fit every time.Did you change any of the settings? Which filament did you use, and is it calibrated? Is it possible for you to turn the top part a little further? It looks like there is still a bit of room left.

I only printed one piece and it was quite difficult to rotate overall. Even after forcing it a bit further, the top and bottom parts still don’t align perfectly. In my case it might help to adjust the tolerances a bit or try different settings/filament.

I think the Filament Flow Rate is to high.
