Description
The Story / O projekcie I am a 3D design amateur sharing my first functional project. Magneto MK1 is a rugged, field-ready case for MeshCore. It focuses on reliability and power rather than minimalism. (PL: Mój pierwszy amatorski projekt solidnej obudowy terenowej, postawiłem na trwałość).
Technical Solutions / Rozwiązania
- Battery: Designed for 2x 18650 cells to handle GPS power needs. I used cells with solder tabs for a direct, vibration-resistant connection, skipping standard holders. (PL: Zasilanie 2x 18650 z lutowanych ogniw dla pancernego połączenia).
- Hardware: Reinforced SMA mount and a dedicated GPS antenna "gate" for easy assembly.
- Stability: Internals are stabilized with hot glue and pressed by integrated pillars in the back cover.
Printing Guidelines / Druk
- Buttons: Print the bridge in PETG for necessary flexibility.
- Case: PLA/ABS/PETG. No supports needed.
- Note: This is MK1; minor filing of the button bridge might be needed for a perfect fit . MK2 is in development!
