Spool Holder for Rollo Thermal Printer
Overview
This custom spool holder is designed specifically for use with the Rollo thermal label printer, providing a smooth‑feeding and stable external roll support solution. It keeps large or non-standard label rolls neatly aligned behind the printer to ensure consistent tension and jam‑free printing.
Features
- Perfect Fit for Rollo – Sized to position the label roll directly in line with the Rollo printer’s feed path.
- Stable Base Design – Wide, low‑profile support keeps the roll steady even during fast print bursts.
- Universal Roll Compatibility – Holds standard 1" cardboard cores as well as most fan‑fold-to-roll adapters.
- Low-Friction Spool Rod – Rounded axle allows labels to unwind smoothly with minimal drag.
- Easy Assembly – Prints in two to three pieces depending on model; snaps together without tools.
- Compact Footprint – Fits easily on a desk or shipping station without crowding your workspace.
Assembly
- Print base and spool components.
- Insert spool rod into designated side slots.
- Place your label roll on the rod and align with the printer feed.
- Begin printing—labels should glide smoothly from the holder into your Rollo printer.
Notes
- This holder is optimized for 4x6 shipping label rolls, but other sizes should work as long as the roll width is under the maximum arm span.
If you typically use heavy rolls, consider adding infill or a small internal weight to prevent sliding.
